摘要
该文以Fraser的话语标记语分类理论及以Sperber和Wilson为代表的关联理论为指导,分析TED商务类英语演讲中的话语标记语的分布和功能。结果表明,话语标记语在TED商务类英语演讲中分布广泛,其中,扩展性标记语的运用频率最高,而各类标记语在演讲语篇中的主要语用功能有语篇连贯功能、信息补充和修饰功能、话语构建功能、语境构建功能以及填充功能。该研究对演讲爱好者学习提高演讲技能具有参考作用,并为商务演讲者提供借鉴意义。
This study is to explore the distribution and functions of discourse markers in the TED business talks,based on Fraser's classification about discourse markers and Sperber and Wilson's Relevance Theory.The results show that:discourse markers are wide spreading in these talks.Among different kinds of discourse markers,elaborative markers enjoy the highest frequency.Discourse markers perform five functions in the texts:textual cohesion function,information supplement and modification function,discourse construction function,context construction function and filler function.The research is of great value in helping speech learners and business lecturers upgrade their speech skills.
