“三美论” 视角下《诗经·关雎》英译本对比分析

A Comparative Analysis of the English Versions of The Book of Songs·Guan Ju from the Perspective of"Three Beauties"Theory

《诗经》作为古代诗歌的开端,是中国最早的一部诗歌总集,是中国古代人民智慧的结晶。作为中国优秀传统文化代表作之一,理应走上世界舞台,让世界人民看到中国这部文化瑰宝,为此,不少译者把《诗经》翻译成英文。基于此,该文旨在以许渊冲“三美论”为理论指导,对比分析许渊冲译本和理雅各译本的特点,以期为中国文化更好地在海外传播提供更好的经验和借鉴。

As the beginning of ancient Chinese poetry,The Book of Songs is the earliest collection of poetry and the crystallization of the wisdom of ancient Chinese people.As one of the representative works of China's excellent traditional culture,it should be on the world stage to let the people of the world see China's cultural treasure.Therefore,many translators have translated The Book of Songs into English.In order to provide better consultation and reference for the better dissemination and spread of Chinese culture abroad,this paper aims to make a comparative analysis of the characteristics of Xu Yuanchong's translation and James Legge's translation under the theoretical guidance of Xu Yuanchong's"Three Beauties"Theory.
