课程思政元素融入大学英语教学的探索与实践——以延安大学为例

教育部发布《高校思想政治工作质量提升工程实施纲要》中明确提出“课程思政”这一概念,要求高校教师充分挖掘和运用各门课程所蕴含的思政育人元素,将思想政治教育与知识体系教育融入课堂教学的每个环节,实现立德树人的教育目标。大学英语作为一门全国高校普遍开设的通识课程,应该将思政育人理念贯穿英语教学当中,将提升学生的语言综合能力与整体素质结合起来。语言是文化的载体,教师应该引导学生树立正确的语言观,注重中国传统文化的学习。学生应该以扎实的英语语言知识和技能为基础,以便更好地用英语讲述中国故事,传播中国文化。将中国优秀传统文化、社会主义核心价值观等思政元素融入大学英语教学,有利于学生树立正确的人生观、价值观和世界观,增强学生的文化自信。陕北高校大学英语教学也存在一些问题,如何将思政元素融入大学英语教学,对陕北高校实现课程思政具有重要的现实意义。

The Ministry of Education put forward the conception of “moral education”in the document of Implementation outline of improving the quality of ideological and political work in colleges and universities, which clearly requires college teachers to fully explore and apply the elements of ideological and political education contained in various courses, and integrate ideological and political education and knowledge education into every link of classroom teaching, so as to achieve the educational goal of cultivating people by moral education. As a general education course generally offered by colleges and universities nationwide, college English should integrate the concept of ideological and political education into English teaching, and combine the improvement of students’ language competence with their overall quality. Language is the carrier of culture, so teachers should guide students to establish a correct view of language and pay attention to the study of traditional Chinese culture. Students should master solid English language knowledge and skills in order to better tell Chinese stories in English and spread Chinese culture. Integrating ideological and political elements such as excellent traditional Chinese culture, socialist core values and other elements into English teaching is conducive to students to establish a correct outlook on life, values and the world, and enhance students’ cultural confidence. There are also some problems in college English teaching in northern Shaanxi, so it is of great significance to discuss how to integrate ideological and political elements into college English teaching and realize the goal of moral education in universities in northern Shaanxi.
