In English synaesthesia, the meanings of ST-words are obviously different. Therefore, in order to further deepen the understanding of English lexicology, it is necessary to deeply analyze the metaphorical cognition of English synaesthesia based on St analysis. From the perspective of metaphor, this paper makes an in-depth study of the phenomenon of “ST-” in English synaesthesia, confirms the pronunciation characteristics and the relationship between meanings of “ST-” through relevant vocabulary, and further explores the conceptual structure and cultural norms.
