The deepening application of geographic information technology(GIS)in environmental protection management provides scientific support for environmental protection process control and management decisionmaking of petrochemical enterprises.Meanwhile,in the process of promoting environmental protection informatization,petrochemical enterprises can effectively promote their own green transformation by strengthening the integration and innovation of GIS and other advanced technologies.Based on the introduction of the GIS application in environmental protection business in petrochemical enterprises,this paper further expounds the application case of a petrochemical group,discusses the technical development and deepened application in environmental protection.It provides practical reference for the digital transformation of environmental protection in petrochemical enterprises.
