On Aug.26,the first specialized freight train laden with 1,000 tonnes of tea produced in Hubei left the Wujiashan Station for Moscow.Wuhan was the starting point of the Tea Road linking China and Russia,and tea exported from Hankou once occupied 60 percent of the world market.In recent years,Hubei has expedited the development of the tea industry chain,based on its unique geographical and climate advantages.The first half of 2022 has seen a tea export volume worth USD 73 million,among which USD 390,000 worth was exported to Russia.
