摘要
近年来,基于虚拟交流的高等教育国际化方兴未艾。跨国在线协作学习(COIL)综合互联网技术、跨文化环境和小组协作学习,是推动高等教育国际化的新型虚拟交流模式。本文介绍了COIL的概念内涵、特征与实践研究现状,基于天津师范大学COIL教学团队6年实践经验提出“跨国在线协作教—学—研共同体”教育模式,阐述COIL融入高校外语教育的途径、方法和赋能效果,并指出COIL常见问题解决方法和未来发展方向。
In recent years,internationalization of higher education based on virtual exchange has been thriving.As a novel type of virtual exchange,collaborative online international learning(COIL) combines Internet technology,intercultural environments and group collaboration.This paper introduces the connotations,features,practice and research of COIL.Based on six years of COIL practice by the COIL faculty team at Tianjin Normal University,the paper puts forward an educational model “collaborative online international teaching-learning-research community”,discusses its paths,methods and empowerment effects,and proposes solutions to the common problems and future directions of integrating COIL into tertiary foreign language education.
