Overview of Global Volcanic Activity in 2021

通过对2021年全球活动火山监测信息的统计分析,确定全年共有28个国家的103座火山发生了喷发活动,综合分析了活动火山的时空分布特征,根据火山预警4个等级(I~IV)分类,着重对2021年全球典型火山活动灾害情况做出了详细描述。2021年火山喷发导致一定的人员伤亡和财产损失,但未造成全球性的重大灾难。此外,根据对本年度火山灰柱高度等信息的整理调查研究,推断2021年的火山活动仅会对火山附近区域的天气与大气环境受到暂时的、有限的影响。

Through statistical analysis of the global active volcano monitoring information in 2021,it is determined that 103 volcanoes in 28 countries have erupted throughout the year.The temporal and spatial distribution characteristics of active volcanoes are comprehensively analyzed,and according to the four grades(I-IV) of volcano warning,a detailed description of the global typical volcanic activity disasters in 2021 is emphasized.The volcanic eruption in 2021 caused certain casualties and property losses,but did not cause a major global disaster.In addition,according to the investigation and research on the information such as the height of the volcanic ash column this year,it is inferred that the volcanic activity in 2021 will only temporarily and limitedly affect the weather and atmospheric environment in the vicinity of the volcano.
