As an artificial sweetener,sodium cyclamate has the advantages of high sweetness,low calorie,high efficiency and economy,and is widely used in modern food industry.However,the unqualified use of sodium cyclamate in food is relatively high.This paper expounds the use and detection methods of sodium cyclamate in food,analyzes the harm of sodium cyclamate to human body and environment,and provides a theoretical basis for strictly limiting and reducing the use of sodium cyclamate.
