关爱侨界留守儿童 “为侨搭桥”放飞梦想

Caring for the Left-behind Children of Overseas Chinese, Building Bridges for Them to Chase Dreams

与传统意义上的“留守儿童”不同,在青岛莱西市姜山镇有一群特殊的“侨留守儿童”——他们的父母长期在海外工作,是以“70后”、“80后”为主体的新生代华侨。他们有的跟随祖辈生活,有的寄宿在亲友家中,由于父母不在身边,“侨留守儿童”在性格养成方面起伏很大。针对这一情况,近年来,中共莱西市委统战部以“以侨为本为侨服务”为重点,坚持精准摸排、搭建平台、完善服务,多措并举全面推进基层侨务工作,把关爱侨界留守儿童作为服务品牌工作常抓不懈,取得了显著成效。

There is a group of children left behind by overseas Chinese in the countryside of Jiangshan Town,Laixi City,Qingdao.Their parents are the new generation of overseas Chinese,mainly born in the 1970 s and 1980 s,who have worked overseas for a long time.In recent years,the United Front Work Department of the CPC Laixi Committee has been focusing on serving overseas Chinese based on their actual needs.It insists on targeted research,building platforms,and improving services,and has taken multiple measures to comprehensively promote the work on overseas Chinese affairs at the primary level.At the same time,it takes caring for the left-behind children of overseas Chinese as a service brand and has made unremitting efforts to work on it,and thus remarkable results have been achieved.
