摘要
“论”是产生较早、在现代社会仍然具有重要地位的一种文体。论体观念和论式并非一成不变,伴随佛教东传产生的中西、教内外交汇,是其变化发展的动因之一。西来佛典中有大量异于中土的关于论之体性、功能、体式特征的阐述。中土僧侣对于西来的佛教论典有文体方面的细致理论归纳和深入阐发。刘勰并观中西、教内外,使中西、教内外的论体观念和论体文共为论体观念建构的理论资源和作品基础,并由此推进了中土论体观念的发展。中土为弘护佛法所作的论体文模范西来的佛教论式和中土文人论式,导致中土和佛教论体文论式的变化。
The argumentative essay emerged early in history and it is still widely used now.The notion of argumentative style and the structure of an argumentative essay were changing constantly in Chinese history,which was in part traceable to the meeting of Chinese and Western Buddhist and non-Buddhist notions of argumentative style and structures of argumentative essays.There are ideas about argumentative style and functions of argumentative essays in the Western works of Buddhism in early medieval China.Some of these ideas are different from Chinese contemporary ideas.Chinese monks nicely summarized and expounded them at that time.The structure of western argumentative essay of Buddhism is very special for Chinese too.Liu Xie researched both Chinese and Western notions of argumentative style and structures of argumentative essays.Chinese monks imitated both Buddhist and non-Buddhist argumentative essays when they were writing.As a result,the notion of argumentative style and structures of argumentative essays changed.
