From History to Reality:A Brief Introduction to Critical Heritage Studies

作为一种研究范式,成形于世纪之交的批判遗产研究在国际遗产领域具有深刻的影响。鉴于民俗学学科在非遗问题上存在着既肯定又批判的理论张力,该范式从认识论和方法论角度对既有以科学主义为主导的欧洲中心式遗产观及实践开展的批判和反思,也就难与当前的非遗理论格局形成有效关联和直接对话。对于当前的非遗学科建设而言,批判遗产研究视遗产为政治、社会和文化现象的观念,及其重视学术话语在遗产相关知识生产中的作用的取向,在理论和实践层面都具有重要的启示意义。

As an influential paradigm,critical heritage studies which emerged at the turn of the century has a great impact upon the field of international heritage studies.However,due to the theoretical tensions in folklore as a discipline to view the ICH through both positive and negative ways,it is hard to effectively connect the current ICH theories with this new paradigm,which seeks to challenge the Eurocentric discourse of heritage and its practices directed by scientism through methodological and epistemological approaches.For the further development of ICH as a discipline,it might be of importance theoretically as well as methodologically,to absorb the key idea of critical heritage studies to regard heritage as a political,social,and cultural phenomenon and to highlight the role of academic discourse in the knowledge production of heritage.
