The“Indo-Pacific Economic Framework”proposed by the Biden administration is the economic pillar of its Indo-Pacific Strategy.The framework aims to strengthen economic cooperation with countries in the Asia-Pacific region,reshape and lead regional economic integration,enhance its strategic maneuver,restrict China’s economic development and contain China’s rise.Despite many uncertainties,the“Indo-Pacific Economic Framework”is not a free trade agreement.It will disrupt the regional supply chain,hinder the development of economic integration in the Asia-Pacific region,and pose challenges to the long-term stability and prosperity of the region.
