This paper studies the importance of model construction and projection mapping in the development and application of digital sand table,and deeply studies the model from satellite map positioning to 3 D softw are construction to physical sand table sculpture,and the digital image from content design to post production to projection hardware construction environment,highlighting that model construction and projection mapping are the core of digital sand table.
