摘要
本文首先对国内学界有关拉脱维亚大学和拉脱维亚汉学研究创始人彼德·施密特的史实谬误做了匡正;其次以近三十年来拉脱维亚大学汉语教学改革和发展为线索,从历时角度纵向考察拉脱维亚大学汉语教学的特点,认为拉脱维亚大学汉语教学发展缓慢,维持传统发展模式。2011年孔子学院成立带来了汉语教材、语言实践模式、学术交流等方面的极大繁荣,但长期以来在本土教师、本土教材和课程设置方面的问题仍然没有得到很好的解决;通过对学生和教师的深度访谈探因,认为应找准社会需求,做好顶层设计,找准学生学习动机,推进教师和教材本土化,探索特色发展之路。
This paper firstly corrects the historical fallacies in domestic academia about University of Latvia and the founder of Latvian Sinology study Peter Schmidt.Secondly,this paper takes the reform and development of Chinese language teaching in University of Latvia over the past three decades as clues,and investigates the features of Chinese language teaching in University of Latvia from a diachronic perspective.The investigation shows that the development of Chinese teaching in University of Latvia is slow and the traditional development model remains.In 2011,the establishment of the Confucius Institute greatly stimulated progress in Chinese teaching materials,language practice models,and academic exchanges,yet the problems concerning local teaching staff,localization of teaching materials,and curriculum settings have not been well resolved.Through in-depth interviews with students and teachers,the authors put forward suggestions that they should be more targeted at social needs,refine top-level design,identify students’learning motivation,promote training of local teaching staff and the localization of teaching materials so as to develop a path of Chinese language teaching tailored to their own conditions.
