摘要
在“新文科”建设背景下,外语学科的跨学科交叉融合新发展成为学者讨论的热点,商务英语专业因其与其他学科的交叉融合更应引起关注。本研究主要以中、东部高校商务英语教师为研究对象,回收152份有效调查问卷,从跨学科研究、创新表现、团队合作、应用反思四个维度评价商务英语教师跨学科能力。结果显示,目前商务英语教师总体跨学科能力较弱,具体到这四个维度的得分普遍偏低。研究建议,各高校应根据自身专业优势和师资结构,加大政策支持,增加进修机会,打造跨学科合作团队,以促进商务英语教师跨学科能力的提升。
In the context of constructing“New Liberal Arts”in universities in this country,the interdisciplinary development of the foreign language and literature discipline has become a hot topic.Under this circumstance,more attention should be paid to Business English(BE)major for its distinct feature of integration with other disciplines.This paper attempts to analyze the status quo of BE teachers’interdisciplinary competence from four dimensions:interdisciplinary research,innovation ability,team collaboration,and application and reflection.Data for this study were collected through 152 valid questionnaires,mainly from eastern and central universities.We have found that the overall interdisciplinary competence of BE teachers is relatively weak with low scores on all four dimensions.We suggest that further efforts be exerted based on universities’own advantages and their faculty structures to enhance policy support,increase in-service training opportunities and cultivate interdisciplinary teaching collaboration.
