摘要
大学英语教学应满足国家人才培养需求,为“一带一路”建设服务。本研究挑选了三个有代表性的院校作为调研对象,调查新建本科院校ESP教学和区域国别研究情况,调查显示:大多数通用英语教师已经意识到ESP教学的重要性,已经有从事ESP教学的思想准备,但他们区域国别研究方面的知识严重缺乏,对“一带一路”了解很少;ESP教学效果不佳,ESP师资队伍建设亟待加强。在建设“一带一路”、实践人类命运共同体的大背景下,针对调查现状和问题,本文提出了构建两个相互独立又紧密联系的大学英语课程教学体系:具有校本特色、基于ESP的大学英语教学体系和具有校本特色、突破ESP语言属性的区域国别研究教学体系。
Against the background of the Belt and Road Initiative(BRI),college English teaching in newly established colleges should meet the needs of the national talent training.In order to investigate ESP teaching and region and country studies in these colleges,three representative colleges were selected as the subjects.The investigation shows:Most English teachers realize the importance of ESP teaching and get ready for it,but they may know little about region and country studies and the BRI;ESP teaching is not satisfactory,and the quality of ESP teachers needs urgent enhancement.With the BRI and a community with shared future for mankind in mind,in order to assess current situations and solve the problems found in the survey,the authors puts forward two subsystems which are independent forms but are closely related to each other.They are college English teaching system based on ESP and the region and country studies with school-based characteristics.
