高等教育是我国国民教育的制高点,处于战略性地位。党对高等教育的全面领导是坚持社会主义办学方向、实现高等教育公平正义、推进高等教育事业改革发展、促进高等教育治理体系和治理能力现代化的根本保证。新时代加强党对高等教育的全面领导,要从坚持政治领导、深化体制改革、完善组织建设、打造人才队伍、贯穿思想政治工作、持续正风肃纪等方面着力,将党的全面领导贯彻和实践到高等教育工作的各个方面。明确党对高等教育领导的价值指向及路径选择,对办好中国特色社会主义大学具有重大意义。

Higher education is the highest level of China’s national education,which is in a strategic position.The Party’s overall leadership over higher education is the fundamental guarantee for adhering to the socialist direction of running schools,realizing the fairness and justice of higher education,promoting the reform and development of higher education,and accelerating the modernization of the governance system and capacity of higher education.To strengthen the Party’s overall leadership over higher education in the new era,the following aspects should adhere to the Party’s political leadership,deepen institutional reform,improve organizational construction,build a team of talents,run through ideological and political education in our work and continue to discipline our behaviors.These measures can help to put the Party’s overall leadership into practice in all the aspects of higher education.It is of great significance to clarify the Party’s leadership over value guidance and path choice for China’s higher education to run socialist colleges and universities with Chinese characteristics.
