“隐喻”建构模式下的诺兰电影《信条》

Following the Constructive Pattern of Metaphors:Nolan's Film Tenet

由传奇导演克里斯托弗·诺兰执导的科幻间谍动作大片《信条》自2020年9月上映以来,备受争议。外媒盛赞该片为“诺兰最佳作品之一”“令人上瘾的特工片”。但《信条》的实验性和解谜性超出了一般观众的接受能力。除了电影本身的物理学框架外,诺兰在影片中插入了不少历史知识和现实背景,使影片的内涵更加丰富,但同时也增加了观众的记忆负担和解谜难度。本文研究分析诺兰导演在电影中埋设、构建的“隐喻”模式以及在此模式下环环相扣的电影剧情的设计理念和意图。

The sci-fic spy action blockbuster Tenet,directed by legendary director Christopher Nolan,has been controversial since its release in September 2020.Foreign media praised the film as“one of Nolan s best works”and an“addictive spy film”.But the film s experimental and puzzle-solving nature is beyond the capacity of average viewers.In addition to the framework of physics of the film itself,Nolan inserts a lot of historical knowledge and real world background into the film,which enriches the content of the film but increases the burden of the audience s memory and the difficulty of solving puzzles.This paper studies and analyzes the pattern of metaphors that Director Nolan planned and constructed in the film,and the design ideas and intentions of the film plot following this pattern.
