To explore the research progress of acupuncture in the treatment of stroke based on the function of intestinal flora

Gut microbiota is a microecosystem composed of microbes in the gut,and each microbiota participates in maintaining various functions of the human body by achieving ecological balance.The number and structure of gut microbiota change after stroke,which causes a series of reactions and aggravates brain injury.Acupuncture can promote the recovery of nerve function by correcting the disorder of intestinal flora.This study illustrates multiple potential mechanisms of acupuncture in the treatment of stroke by interfering with gut microbiota,aiming to provide new ideas for the prevention and treatment of stroke.
