英语专业第二课堂与美育功能的构建——以上海大学外国语学院莎士比亚戏剧节为例

The Second Class of English Major and the Construction of Aesthetic Education Function--Take the Shakespeare Festival of School of Foreign Languages of Shanghai University as an Example

美育作为教育的重要组成部分,以艺术和审美来丰富情感、陶冶人格、提升境界,实现以美育人、以美化人、以美铸魂。本着提高学生美育能力为目的,各院校都在探索适合自己的独特的第二课堂方式。莎士比亚戏剧是英美文学教学中必不可少的内容,其语言特色、思想深度等都是提高学生人文素养的有效手段。莎士比亚戏剧节通过“以演促学”模式,实现“第一课堂”和“第二课堂”的无缝对接。据此,以上海大学外国语学院莎士比亚戏剧节为例,探索上海大学外国语学院莎士比亚戏剧节对学生美育功能的作用。

Aesthetic education,as an important part of education,enriches emotions,cultivates personality and elevates the realm of thought with art and aesthetics,so as to achieve the goal of educating people,improving people and building soul of people with beauty.With the aim of improving the ability of aesthetic education of students,many colleges and universities are exploring theirown unique second classmode.The plays of Shakespeare are an indispensable part in the teaching of English and American literature.The language features and ideological depth of the plays are effective means to improve the humanistic literacy of students.Through the mode of“promoting learning by acting”,the Shakespeare Festival realizes the seamless connection between“the first class”and“the second class”.Therefore,taking the Shakespeare Festival of School of Foreign Languages of Shanghai University as an example,this paper explores the role of the Shakespeare Festival in the aesthetic education of students.
