From Internet to Metaverse:Opportunities,Challenges and Policy Recommendations of Industrial Development

元宇宙被认为是下一代互联网,将深刻地影响未来产业发展和监管模式变化。为此,本文分析了元宇宙对产业发展的机遇和挑战。研究认为,元宇宙发展将对元宇宙基础科技产业、文化传媒产业、零售业乃至工业等行业带来重大发展机遇,但与此同时,元宇宙也会对传统服务业、电子商务零售业、金融业等形成深层次冲击。此外,元宇宙也会影响宏观经济稳定,并加剧平台垄断、用户隐私泄露等风险。为充分利用好元宇宙带来的产业发展红利,防范元宇宙可能引发的诸多冲击和风险,本文最后提出一系列政策建议:加快元宇宙底层技术产业发展,推动元宇宙赋能传统产业,加强元宇宙平台监管。

The metaverse is considered to be the next-generation Internet,which will profoundly affect future industrial development and regulatory model changes.To this end,this paper analyzes the opportunities and challenges of the metaverse on industrial development.The study concludes that the development of the metaverse will bring significant development opportunities to the metaverse underlying technology industry,cultural media industry,retail industry,and even manufacturing industry.However,at the same time,the metaverse will also have a deep impact on the traditional service industry,e-commerce retail industry,and financial industry.In addition,the metaverse will also affect macroeconomic stability and aggravate risks such as platform monopoly and user privacy leakage.To make full use of the industrial development dividend brought by metaverse and prevent many impacts and risks that may be triggered by metaverse,this paper makes a series of policy recommendations:accelerate the development of metaverse underlying technology industry,promote metaverse to empower traditional industries and strengthen the supervision of metaverse platforms.
