数字化转型能否缓解产业结构趋同程度

Whether Digital Transformation Can Alleviate the Convergence of Industrial Structure

产业结构趋同现象造成产能过剩的同时会阻碍产业转型升级,而数字化发展能够赋予要素资源、信息流动以及技术创新新动能,因此,厘清数字化发展对产业结构趋同的效力及其内在机理有助于渡过产业转型爬升期。本文将中国2013—2019年30个省区市作为研究对象,探究数字化发展对产业结构趋同的影响和作用机制。研究结果表明:数字化发展水平对产业结构趋同具有抑制作用,且影响效果具有空间异质性:数字化发展在东部地区能够显著抑制产业结构趋同,在中部地区作用不明显,在西部地区会促进当地产业结构趋同。进一步研究发现,数字化发展通过促进资源流动、就业结构转型和研发强度提升对产业结构趋同产生影响。研究结论能够在数字化新情景下为政府调整当地产业结构提供政策建议,实现产业结构的协调、高质量发展。

The phenomenon of industrial structure convergence will not only cost resources wasting,but also hinder the industrial transformation and upgrading.Digital development gives new kinetic energy to factor resources,information flow and technological innovation.Therefore,clarifying the effectiveness and internal mechanism of digital development on industrial structure convergence will help to tide over the climbing period of industrial transformation.This paper takes 30 provinces and cities in China from 2013 to 2019 as the research object to explore the impact and mechanism of digital development on industrial structure convergence.The results show that the level of digital development can inhibit the convergence of industrial structure,and this effect has spatial heterogeneity.Digital development can significantly inhibit the convergence of industrial structure in the eastern region,but not in the central region.It will promote the convergence of local industrial structure in the western region.Further research shows that digital development can affect the convergence of industrial structure by promoting resource flow,transform the employment structure and increase the R&D intensity.The research conclusion can provide policy suggestions for the government to adjust the local industrial structure and realize the coordinated and high-quality development of industrial structure under the new digital situation.
