In the continuous innovation and development,BIM technology has been gradually applied in various fields,such as sugar factory engineering design.This paper analyzes the application of BIM technology in the engineering design of sugar factory in the whole process:Based on the characteristics of sugar factory engineering design projects,industrial design platform configuration,and BIM design process and function,the paper analyzes the advantage of BIM technology in sugar factory engineering project design,construction and management,describes its significant improvement on design efficiency and quality and project management efficiency,the effect on coordination among project parties.At the same time,it also provides a reference for the application of BIM technology in sugar factory engineering design.
