龙岩虽不是朱熹理学思想的核心区域,但曾成为朱熹过化地之一,朱熹撰写的四篇与龙岩有关的文章,体现了朱熹的民本精神、法治意识、办学兴教、重农务本等重要思想,对龙岩乃至闽西文明进程产生了深远影响,需要传承与弘扬。

Though Longyan was not the core area of Zhuxi’s Neo-Confucianism,it had the honor of becoming one of the places where Zhu Xi once lived and gave lessons.Zhuxi’s ideology has had profound influence on Longyan and is well worth inheriting and carrying forward.The four articles by Zhuxi which are related to Longyan embody Zhuxi’s people-based thought,awareness of law,school running principles as well as agriculture-based thinking.Zhuxi’s Neo-Confucianism has had far-reaching impact on the civilization process of Longyan and still has vital practical significance.
