Experience of Maxing Shigan Decoction in Treating Infantile Asthmatic Cough

麻杏石甘汤出自《伤寒杂病论》,是麻黄汤去桂枝加石膏,变辛温发表为辛凉宜透之法。麻杏石甘汤是常用于治疗小儿咳喘的经方,但在临床治疗中需要依据方剂的辨证要点针对施治,虽幼儿用药量减半,但药物配比灵活,故可获得奇效。此文对桂枝加麻杏石甘汤进行解析,阐述其在小儿喘嗽治疗的中医机制,作验案1则以供参考。

Maxing Shigan decoction comes from Treatise on Febrile Diseases,which is a method of removing Guizhi and adding gypsum from Mahuang decoction,and changing relieving superficies syndrome with pungent and warm natured drugs into resolving superficies with pungent and cool natured drugs.Maxing Shigan decoction is commonly used to treat children’s cough and asthma,but in clinical treatment,it needs to be treated according to the key points of syndrome differentiation of the prescription.Although the amount of medicine for children is halved,the drug ratio is flexible,so it can obtain miraculous effects.This article analyzes Guizhi Maxing Shigan decoction,expounds its traditional Chinese medicine mechanism in the treatment of asthma and cough in children,and makes a case for reference.
