环保型杂化乳液对PP/GF界面性能的影响

摘要 通过溶液乳化法合成了环保型水性杂化聚丙烯(PP)蜡乳液,并对玻璃纤维(GF)进行表面涂覆改性处理。测定水性杂化乳液粒径和Zeta电位,观察水性杂化乳液处理前后GF的表面微观形貌,并测试改性前后玻璃纤维单丝的拉伸强度和PP/GF复合材料的界面剪切强度(IFSS)。结果表明,制备的水性杂化乳液粒径较小,稳定性好,适当添加改性纳米二氧化硅能减少乳化剂的使用量。经过水性杂化乳液改性后,GF与PP的IFSS显著改善,质量分数为3%改性纳米二氧化硅杂化乳液效果最佳,复合材料的IFSS为9.83 MPa,提高了128%。 Environmentally friendly aqueous hybrid polypropylene(PP)wax emulsions were synthesized by solution emulsification,and the surface coating of glass fibers(GF)was modified.The particle size and Zeta potential of the aqueous hybrid emulsion were measured,and the surface micromorphology of GF before and after the treatment with aqueous hybrid emulsion was observed,and the tensile strength of GF monofilaments and the interfacial shear strength(IFSS)of PP/GF composites were tested before and after the modification.The experimental results show that the prepared aqueous hybrid emulsions have small particle size and good stability,and the appropriate addition of modified nano-silica can reduce the amount of emulsifier used.The IFSS of GF and PP is significantly improved after modification by aqueous hybrid emulsion,and the best result is obtained with 3wt%modified nano-silica hybrid emulsion,and the IFSS of composite materials is 9.83 MPa,which increases by 128%.
