焦兴涛“物语”雕塑个展2007年4月7日,“物语”——焦兴涛雕塑个展在北京季节画廊开幕。近年来焦兴涛一直运用写实的方法,通过对日用品废弃物的放大、强调和艺术化处理,来试图让这些废弃物和当代人之间建立一种特殊的对话关系,进而探讨人性、欲望、探寻欲望的被包裹,以及唤起人们穿透包装的遮蔽想象。“物语”系列作品融入了他个人对人文、社会以及商品消费意识形态诸多现象的关注。

MATTER MORPHOSIS-JIAO XINGTAO SOLO SCULPTURE SHOW On 7^(th) April 2007,“Matter morphosis-Jiao Xingtao Solo Sculpture Show”opened at the China Seasons Art Gallery in Beijing.In recent years,Jiao Xingtao has been using a very realistic method for creation.He magnified waste materials from products of daily use and stressed how he dealt with turning these things into art.By doing this,he tried to build a special dialogue between these waste materials and people in the art world,exploring human nature,desires and how we package these desires.He thus calls on people to penetrate this package and with it,the illusion that all that's inside is hidden from view.'Matter morphosis'exists of a series of art works that explore the relati on ship betwee n the artist on one hand,and humanity and society on the other.He also pays close attention to the ideologies of consumerism and commercialism and their many aspects.
