湘赣地区古代越人的铁器化进程

Iron Tools Development of the Ancient Yue People in Hunan and Jiangxi Province

湘赣地区一直是古代越人的重要聚居地,随着东周时期各国铁器的发展,湘赣地区越人也开始了铁器化进程,但这进程是伴随楚文化的南渐而逐步完成的。春秋中晚期,越文化遗址和高等级越墓中已开始出土铁质工具;至战国早中期,越人铁器使用进入发展阶段,除遗址外在平民墓葬中也有铁器出土;战国晚期至西汉早期,湘赣地区越人完成铁器化的进程,种类数量增多、分布范围向南扩大,为湘赣地区越文化融入汉文化一统起到重要推动作用。

Ancient Hunan and Jiangxi Province had been inhabiting by the ancient Yue people.With the development of iron tools in countries during the Eastern Zhou Dynasty,the Yue people in ancient Hunan and Jiangxi Province also started to develop iron tools,which was gradually completed along with the spreading of Chu culture from the north.In the middle and late Spring and Autumn Period,iron tools were unearthed from the ruins and tombs of the Yue culture.By the early and middle stage of Warring States Period,the use of iron tools had been advanced with iron tools unearthed not only in ruins but also tombs of ordinary people.From the late Warring States Period to the early Western Han Dynasty,the Yue people in ancient Hunan and Jiangxi Province completed developing the iron tools,with more types,lager coverage to the south,which played an important role in promoting the integration of Yue cultures in ancient Hunan and Jiangxi Province with the culture of the Han Dynasty.
