山东抗日根据地的植树造林

Afforestation in Shandong Anti-Japanese Base Area

全面抗战时期,由于日伪军队的肆意掠夺,加以管理与保护不力,山东的林业遭受严重破坏,林木大大减少,直接影响到人民生产与生活,造成水旱灾害的频发。为发展生产、改善群众生活、减轻水旱灾害,在山东抗日根据地,中国共产党及其领导的抗日民主政府利用战争间隙发动群众大力开展植树护林活动,并制定和实施了一系列发展和保护林业的政策和措施。由于中国共产党及其领导的各级抗日民主政府的重视,植树造林活动在山东抗日根据地搞得有声有色,林业生产有了明显的发展。

Due to the wanton plundering of the Japanese and puppet forces and the inadequate protection,Shandong’s forestry suffered serious damage,which greatly reduced the number of trees,and directly affected people’s production and life,resulting in frequent floods and droughts during the total resistance against Japanese aggression by the whole nation.In order to develop production and improve people’s life,as well as reduce flood and drought,the Communist Party of China and the government of Shandong Resistance Base Area mobilized the masses to carry out tree planting and forest protection activities in the interval of the war,formulated and implemented a series of policies and measures to develop and protect forestry.Due to serious attention of the Party and other democratic governments at all levels under its leadership,afforestation activities made a great success and the forestry production developed significantly.
