在向第二个百年奋斗目标迈进的重大历史关头,习近平总书记提出了“历史自觉”这一重大命题。全面深入理解历史自觉,需要在大历史观视域下系统考察其思想内涵、价值意蕴和实践路径。历史自觉是对五千年中华文明史的自觉,是对五百年社会主义发展史的自觉,是对中国共产党百年奋斗历程的自觉,是对当今世界时代主题和发展趋势的自觉。历史自觉为实现第二个百年奋斗目标提供了行动方向,为马克思主义中国化时代化提供了强大动力,为中国共产党保持先进性提供了思想遵循,为人类历史发展提供了中国智慧和中国方案。增强历史自觉,要坚持党的领导,坚持马克思主义的指导思想,加强党史学习教育,推动中华优秀传统文化创造性转化、创新性发展。

At the historic juncture of moving towards the second centenary goal, General Secretary Xi Jinping put forward the important proposition of "historical consciousness". To fully and deeply understand historical consciousness, we need to systematically investigate its ideological connotation, value implication, and practical path in the perspective of the grand historical outlook. Historical consciousness is the consciousness of the 5000year history of Chinese civilization, the 500 year history of socialist development, the history of the Party’s century-long struggle, and the theme and development trend of the world today. The historical consciousness provides the direction of action for the realization of the second centennial goal, provides a strong driving force for the sinicization and modernization of Marxism, provides the ideological guidance for the CPC to maintain its progressiveness nature, and provides Chinese wisdom and Chinese solutions for the development of human history. To enhance historical consciousness, we should adhere to the leadership of the Party, adhere to the guiding ideology of Marxism, strengthen the study and education of Party history, and promote the creative transformation and innovative development of excellent traditional Chinese culture.
