基于基因组测序揭示玉米WAK基因的变异信息

摘要 玉米是全球总产量最高的粮食作物,对粮食安全产生重大影响。通过下一代测序技术对5个玉米品种Z07、Z24、Z29、Z41及YLZ进行全基因组测序,结果表明,4个玉米品种的WAK基因序列基本一致,而Z07没有测出这段序列。在编码区无明显变异的情况下,启动子区新发现有1个插入突变,这种变异类型在已测序并公开发表的75份玉米资源的WAK基因序列中也有发现,命名为ZmWAK-i。 Corn is the most productive food crop in the world,which has a significant impact on food security.The whole genome of five corn varieties Z07,Z24,Z29,Z41 and YLZ were sequenced by next generation sequencing technique.The results showed that the WAK gene sequences of four corn varieties were basically the same,but Z07 did not detect this sequence.In the case of no obvious variation in the coding region,a new insertion mutation was found in the promoter re-gion.This type of mutation was also found in the WAK gene sequence of 75 corn resources sequenced and launched,and named ZmWAK-i.
