Using Red Culture to Help Improve the Quality and Efficiency of Ideological and Political courses in Colleges and Universities

红色文化是我们党领导人民在中国革命、建设、改革的伟大实践中创造的文化瑰宝,具有民族性、先进性、时代性三大基本特征。在思想政治教育中,红色文化蕴含教育引导、道德规范、精神激励的功能,运用红色文化增强理论教学实效、拓展实践教学形式、提升教师队伍素质,是推动高校思政课提质增效的有效路径。

Red culture is a cultural treasure created by our Party leading the people in the great practice of China’s revolution, construction and reform. It has three basic characteristics of nationality, advancement, and modernization. In ideological and political education, red culture contains the functions of educational guidance, moral regulation, and spiritual motivation. Using red culture to enhance the effectiveness of theoretical teaching, expand the form of practical teaching, and improve the quality of teachers is an effective way to promote the quality and efficiency of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities.
