中欧班列开通与沿线城市低碳发展 被引量:4

The Opening of CHINA RAILWAY Express and the Low-carbon Development of Cities Along the Route

摘要 文章基于2004—2019年地级市面板数据,建立双重差分模型,考察中欧班列开通对沿线城市低碳发展的影响及其作用机制。实证研究发现:中欧班列开通显著抑制了沿线城市碳排放,促进了沿线城市低碳发展;作用机制分析发现,中欧班列开通能够通过技术创新、产业结构升级、提高能源使用效率抑制沿线城市碳排放;异质性分析发现,中欧班列开通抑制沿线城市碳排放的政策效果在地理位置、经济规模、人口规模方面存在异质性。研究结论对推动中欧班列建设及经济绿色低碳发展具有积极的政策启示。 Based on the panel data of prefecture level cities from 2004 to 2019,this paper establishes a DID model to investigate the impact of the opening of CHINA RAILWAY Express on the low-carbon development of cities along the route and its mechanism.The empirical study finds that the opening of CHINA RAILWAY Express significantly inhibit the carbon emissions of the cities along the route and promotes the low-carbon development of the cities along the route;the analysis of the mechanism shows that the opening of CHINA RAILWAY Express can curb carbon emissions of cities along the route through technological innovation,upgrading of industrial structure,and improving energy efficiency;heterogeneity analysis finds that the policy effect of the opening of CHINA RAILWAY Express to curb carbon emissions in cities along the route is heterogeneous in terms of geographical location,economic scale,and population size.The research conclusions have positive policy implications for promoting the construction of CHINA RAILWAY Express and green and low-carbon economic development.
