企业嵌入全球价值链的创新路径选择:“渐进式”抑或“突破式”创新

The Choice of Innovation Path for the Enterprises to Embed in Global Value Chain:“Incremental”or“Breakthrough”Innovation

“双循环”新发展格局背景下,企业把握全球价值链重塑机遇是实现优势创新路径选择的重要抓手。文章基于2009~2016年中国上市企业数据,实证研究企业嵌入全球价值链的创新路径选择。研究表明:企业嵌入全球价值链倾向于选择不相关技术多样化路线即“突破式”创新,且在高管具有海外和金融背景的企业更显著;机制检验发现,行业竞争强度与企业技术吸收能力对嵌入全球价值链与“突破式”创新路径选择具有正向调节作用,产学研合作创新关系与客户关系分别对制造业和服务业企业的创新路径选择起到显著正向调节作用。因此,积极发挥全球价值链技术溢出与市场竞争效应,构建供应链、创新链上下联动的创新体系对实现中国制造向中国创造的战略性转变具有重要意义。

Under the background of the new development pattern of“dual circulation”,it is important for the enterprises to grasp the opportunity of the reshaping of global value chain(GVC)to realize the choice of advantageous innovation path.Based on the data of Chinese listed enterprises from 2009 to 2016,this paper empirically studies the choice of innovation path for the enterprises to embed in GVC.The results show that when embedding in GVC,the enterprises tend to choose the irrelevant technological diversification path,namely“breakthrough”innovation,and it is more significant in the enterprises with senior executives who have overseas and financial background.Mechanism test reveals that the intensity of industry competition and the absorptive capacity of the enterprises have a positive moderating effect on the embedment in GVC and the choice of“breakthrough”innovation path,and industry-university-research cooperation innovation relationship and customer relationship have a significant positive moderating effect on the choice of innovation path of manufacturing and service enterprises respectively.Therefore,it is of great significance to give full play to technology spillover and market competition effect of GVC,and construct an innovation system that links up and down supply chain and innovation chain to realize the strategic transformation from“Made in China”to“Created in China”.
