重新认识陶行知生活教育理论及其当代价值

A New Understanding of Tao Xingzhi’s Theory of Life Education and Its Contemporary Value

陶行知生活教育理论具有强大的生命力和解释力,对于我国当前教育改革发展具有重要的指导意义。在指出生活教育理论理解误区、还原陶行知生活理论要义的基础上,阐述陶行知以教育“决定于、依靠于、服务于”生活为原点,在新教育、普及教育、教育实验三个方面作出的独特贡献。新时代应继承和发展陶行知生活教育理论:在目标理念上,将生活教育内涵延拓至美好生活教育;在路径方法上,以教育理论研究与实验实践引领美好生活;在制度机制上,构建充盈美好生活的高质量教育体系。

Tao Xingzhi’s theory of life education has strong vitality and explanatory power.It is of great guiding significance to China’s current educational reform and development.On the basis of pointing out the misunderstanding of life education theory and restoring the essence of Tao Xingzhi’s life theory,the paper argues that Tao Xingzhi has made unique contributions in three aspects:new education,popular education and educational experiments with the philosophy that education"is determined by,relies on and serves"life as the starting point.In the new era,we should inherit and develop Tao Xingzhi’s life education theory in three aspects.Firstly,in terms of the goal concept,we should extend the connotation of life education to good life education.Secondly,in terms of path and method,we should lead a good life with educational theory research and experimental practice.Thirdly,in terms of institutional mechanism,we should build a high-quality educational system that is full of good life.
