A Historical Political Investigation of the Concept of the “People” of the Communist Party of China

“人民”是中国共产党理论创新和政治实践的基石。中国共产党的“人民”概念重生于马克思主义的理论改造,构建于实现中华民族伟大复兴的主题引领,丰富发展于“站起来、富起来、强起来”的三个历史逻辑。在历史情状更迭、时代场域转换中,始终坚守马克思主义的人民立场,始终着眼于凝聚最广大人民的根本利益,是中国共产党立于不败之地的根本保障。

The “people” is the cornerstone of the Communist Party of China(CPC)’s theoretical innovation and political practice. The concept of the “people” of the Communist Party of China was reborn in the theoretical transformation of Marxism, built on the theme of realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, and enriched and developed in the three major historical stages of “standing up, getting rich, and getting strong”. In the midst of changing historical contexts over time, adhering to the Marxist perspective on the people and focusing on the fundamental interests of the overwhelming majority of the people are the guarantee for the CPC to remain invincible.
