摘要
本文围绕大陆基础教育阶段学生英语语音薄弱的现象,试从课程标准的角度发现问题,通过比较大陆与港澳台地区课程标准中的语音标准,发现两者相同点在于:语音标准都包含音段音位与超音段音位,技能要求均多于知识要求。不同点在于:语音要求的分布与归类不同、语音要求的数量随学段高低变化不同、语音要求覆盖的知识面范围不同、在同一学段中,语音要求的难度高低不同。因此,笔者建议:着重培养低年级学生语音意识与兴趣,减轻后期学习负担;扩大语音标准知识范畴,提高语音标准要求;融语音于其他语言技能的学习,综合发展语言能力;留出语音学习的空间,在实际教学中切实落实课程标准。
This paper tries to find solutions to the teaching and learning problems in English pronunciation in China Mainland by the comparing the curricular standards with those in Macao,Hong Kong and Taiwan.The curricular standards in these areas include segmental phonemes and suprasegmental phonemes.There are more specifications of phonetic skills than phonetic knowledge.Their differences in the curricular standards lie in the distribution and classification of phonetic specifications,the scope of phonetic knowledge and skills,the difficulty for the same academic period,and the number of the phonetic specifications for different academic periods.Based upon the similarities and differences,the authors make suggestions for the improvement of the phonetic standards in the English curriculum in China Mainland:to cultivate the phonological awareness and interest of young learners to reduce their burden of further learning,to extend the scope of phonetic specification and raise the standards of phonetic learning,to integrate the ability of English pronunciation into other linguistic skills,thus to develop comprehensive linguistic skills,and to attach importance to the learning of English pronunciation and implement standards in teaching.
