Maintain Self-confidence and Self-reliance and Explore in the Road of Chinese-style Modernization

中国对现代化道路的探索,是从国情世情出发的,经历了落后的近代中国向工业化先发国家学习、走社会主义现代化道路、走中国特色社会主义现代化道路、成功走出中国式现代化道路等四个阶段。中国共产党带领人民创造中国式现代化道路,实现在国际上由受弱势窘境困扰向优势跨越发展、由跟跑到并跑并在一些领域领跑的两个成功转换,创造世所罕见的经济快速发展和社会长期稳定两大奇迹。这是因为:在全球现代化不断演进提升中,坚持自信自立,以人民至上的根本立场构建起现代化的强劲动力、以自立自强方式推进现代化、以共商共建共享原则促进现代化建设的国际合作,形成较强的现代化内生发展能力。两个成功转换和两大奇迹验证了中国式现代化道路是富有活力、激励充分、可持续、优势显著的道路。

China’s exploration in the road of modernization is based on the national conditions and the world situation,and it can be divided into four stages:learning from industrialized developed countries in the early modern age,advancing on the road of socialist modernization,advancing on the road of socialist modernization with Chinese characteristics,and successfully finding the way of Chinese-style modernization.The CPC and the people under the CPC’s leadership have created a road of Chinese-style modernization,having realized two successful transformations(i.e.,transformation from disadvantaged underdevelopment to advantageous leapfrog development,and transformation from being dropped behind to racing side by side and finally taking the lead in some fields)and created two rarely-seen miracles(rapid development of economy and long-term stability of society).These are made owing to the following reason:during the evolution and improvement of global modernization,we always maintain self-confidence and self-reliance,construct a powerful motive force for modernization based on people orientation,promote modernization by the way of self-reliance,and boost international cooperation in modernization construction according to the principles of extensive consultation,joint contribution and shared benefits,and form a powerful modernization capacity of intrinsic development.The two successful transformations and the two miracles have proven that the Chinese-style modernization is a road of vitality,sufficient motivation,sustainability,and obvious strengths.
