The History,Achievements and Experience of the CPC National Congress

党的全国代表大会是党的最高领导机关。中国共产党自建立以来,共召开了二十次党的全国代表大会。党的全国代表大会在推进党的理论创新、制定路线方针政策、发扬党内民主、增进党的团结统一中发挥了极为重要的作用,自党的七大起,党的全国代表大会一直以“团结的大会、胜利的大会”载入史册。党的全国代表大会经历了日益完善的长期发展过程,并逐渐制度化、规范化,但是其作为党的最高领导机关的地位和作用始终如一、无可替代。随着新时代中国特色社会主义事业的不断发展,党的全国代表大会必将展现出新的生机活力,发挥更大的作用。

The CPC National Congress is the supreme leading organ of the Party.Since the founding of the CPC,the Party has convened the National Congress for 20 times,and the Congress has played an extremely important role in promoting the Party’s theoretical innovation,making the Party’s lines,guidelines and policies,carrying forward the intra-party democracy,and reinforcing the Party’s solidarity and unity.Since the 7 th Congress,the CPC National Congress has always been recorded into the history as a“united and victorious congress”.The Congress has experienced a process of long-term development and has been institutionalized and normalized gradually,but its position and function as the Party’s supreme leading organ stay unchanged and irreplaceable.With the ceaseless development of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era,the Congress will inevitably exhibit new vitality and energy and play a greater role.
