战国时代赵南长城始建年代考辨

The Original Building Time of the South Great Wall of Zhao State during the Warring States Period

学术界将赵武灵王所言之“先王”误认为是赵肃侯,从而判断赵南长城始建于赵肃侯。透过赵武灵王追述“先王”功业的辨析可知:赵襄子即位之初,为护卫中牟,在漳水和滏水之间构筑长城。赵肃侯十七年(前333),赵国进攻魏国黄城(今河南内黄西)失利后,重新加固赵襄子长城的防御工事。赵南长城的规划与营造充分利用了漳水和滏水的优越地形,与中牟城联结构成赵国南部军事防御体系,以拱卫赵都邯郸,也为赵武灵王积极向西北方拓展疆域而消除南顾之忧。

The academic circles mistook the"former king"mentioned by Wulingwang of Zhao state(赵武灵王)as Suhou of Zhao state(赵肃侯),and judged that the South Great Wall of Zhao state was built by Suhou.Through the analysis of Wulingwang’s pursuit,it can be seen that Zhao Xiangzi(赵襄子)built the great wall between Zhangshui(漳水)and Fushui(滏水)to protect Zhongmou(中牟)at the beginning of governance.In the 17thyear of Suhou of Zhao state(333 BC),after the Zhao state failed to attack the Huangcheng(黄城)of Wei state(in the west of Nei Huang in Henan at present),the fortifications of the great wall were reinforced.The planning and construction of the South Great Wall of Zhao state made full use of the superior terrain around Zhangshui and Fushui,and formed a military defense system in the south of Zhao state with Zhongmou,which resisted the invasion of various countries and guarded Handan.It also eliminated the worries of the south territory for Wulingwang of Zhao state and actively expanded the territory to the northwest.
