中国的现代化不可能是西方现代化的“翻版”。在不同的发展阶段,有不同的发展格局,相应的中国式现代化道路就会有守正和创新。以人民为中心的现代化,体现人民至上的理念,也是中国式现代化的本质特征。中国所要推进的是人口规模巨大的现代化。人均GDP达到中等发达国家水平不能没有必要的增长速度。进入新发展阶段,推进现代化建设需要构建新发展格局。新发展格局不仅是应对潜在经济增长率下降的格局,也是应对逆全球化的格局。高质量发展是全面建设社会主义现代化国家的首要任务。其必要路径是立足新发展阶段,贯彻新发展理念,构建新发展格局,在新发展阶段推进现代化建设不仅需要坚持深化改革开放,还必须贯彻新发展理念。由此创新的现代化道路可称为中国式现代化新道路,体现了中国式现代化道路的守正创新。贯彻新发展理念的现代化需要由理念到发展道路的转化,由此形成的中国式现代化新道路表现为:现代化的创新发展之路;现代化的协调发展之路;现代化的绿色发展之路;现代化的开放发展之路;现代化的共享发展之路;以及建成现代化经济体系。贯彻新发展理念的中国式现代化新道路就是对中国式现代化的成功推进和拓展,是发展中大国特有的现代化之路。

China′s modernization cannot be a "replica" of Western modernization. At different stages of development,there are different development patterns, and the corresponding Chinese path to modernization will be culture inheritance and innovative. People-centered modernization, reflecting the concept of people first, is also the essential feature of Chinese-style modernization. What China wants to promote is a modernization with a huge population. GDP per capita cannot reach the level of medium developed countries without the necessary growth rate. Entering a new stage of development, modernization requires the construction of a new development pattern. The new development pattern is not only a pattern to cope with the declining potential economic growth rate, but also a pattern to cope with counter-globalization. High-quality development is the primary task of comprehensively building a socialist modern state. Its necessary path is based on the new development stage, implementing the new development concept and building a new development pattern. To promote modernization in the new development stage not only requires adherence to deepening reform and opening up, but also must implement the new development concept. The modernization path thus innovated can be called the new Chinese path to modernization, which reflects the cultural inheritance and innovation. The modernization of the new development concept requires the transformation from the concept to the development path,and the resulting new Chinese path to modernization is manifested as: the innovative development path of modernization;the coordinated development path of modernization;the green development path of modernization;the open development path of modernization;the shared development path of modernization;and the completion of the modernized economic system. The new Chinese path to modernization implementing the new development concept is the successful promotion and expansion of Chinesestyle modernization, which is the unique path of modernization for large developing countries.
