The "tug of war game" of global supply chain system has become the main character of industrial chain and supply chain competition. In this context, how does China respond to the evolution of the global economic pattern with the homemarket thinking has been an important basis for the construction of dual circulations′ development paradigm and also become a hot topic under the background of the fifth round of industrial transfer. This paper explores the impact of supply chain participation scale on China′s regional economic development based on the qualitative analysis of China′s participation in global production from away-market globalization to home-market globalization. It shows that China′s away-market globalization dividends received from relying on foreign investment enterprises to participate in global supply chain trade gradually lost, and China′s home-market globalization advantage began to appear. The density of highway transportation infrastructure, the density of information communication infrastructure and the level of information service have significant influence on regional economic development, and they all have a certain moderating effect on China′s participation in global supply chain. Major event shocks have a significant effect on China′s participation in global supply chain, and accelerate the process of China′s shift to a home-market globalization paradigm based on domestic demand.
