文化建筑是人民享有更加充实、更为丰富、更高质量精神文化生活的物质载体,对提高国家文化软实力、建设社会主义文化强国起到积极的促进作用。它既是承载文化活动的有形空间,也是社会思想和时代精神的具象化表达。在“集约型城市”的发展趋势下,文化建筑进一步与城市空间有机融合;为回应社会发展中人民群众精神文化需求的不断增长,文化建筑与日常生活的结合也日益紧密。优秀的文化建筑不仅可以塑造城市人文形象、深化城市文化内涵,还可以激发地方文化活力、承载更多社会公共生活,兼具“公共性”和“日常性”特征。

Cultural architecture is the physical carrier for the people to enjoy a fuller,more prosperous and higher quality spiritual and cultural life.It positively enhances the country's cultural soft power and builds a strong nation of socialist culture.It is both a tangible space as the carrier of cultural activities and the visualized representation of social thoughts and spirit of the time.
