翻译硕士专业学位研究生生源与就业实证分析

An Empirical Analysis on MTI Students’ Source and Employment

探究北京某“双一流”D大学2015-2021年翻译硕士专业学位研究生(MTI)就业状况与生源之间的关系。研究发现:MTI毕业生就业覆盖面广、层次高、留京率高;毕业生在翻译公司就业比例低于预期;女生就业质量与男生呈现明显差异;推免生的就业情况优于统招生;学生在校平均学分绩点(GPA)对就业有显著影响。为提高研究生培养与就业的匹配度,应注重生源选拔及培养质量,强化学生自身素质,为就业奠定坚实基础。

By investigating the MTI graduate employment from a"double first-class"University in Beijing from 2015 to2021,this paper analyzes the relationship between MTI graduates employment status and their sources.The research findings are as follows:1) MTI graduates have a wide range of employment,and most of them staying in Beijing;2) The proportion of graduates employed in translation companies is lower than expected;3) The employment quality of female students is obviously different from that of male students;4) The employment situation of the recommended students is better than that of the unified enrollment;5) Students’GPA has a significant impact on employment.In order to improve the matching degree between postgraduate training and employment,we should pay attention to the quality of student source selection in the process of enrollment,enhance students’own quality,and lay a solid foundation for employment.
