A New Hot Pepper Variety ‘Layou 20’ with Disease Resistance and High Quality

‘辣优20号’品种是以优良自交系19073为母本,以优良自交系N582为父本选配成的辣椒杂种一代。果实羊角形,青果绿色,果面光滑,单果质量59.82 g,果纵径18.46 cm,果横径2.90 cm,维生素C含量81.20 mg/100 g(FW),蛋白质含量1.19 g/100 g,可溶性糖含量3.9 g/100 g,辣椒素含量2.94 mg/g,平均鲜椒产量1 400 kg /667 m^(2)。该品种早熟,品质优,中抗炭疽病和疫病,感青枯病、TMV和CMV,田间表现耐热性、耐寒性、耐涝性和耐旱性强,适宜广东春秋季露地及地膜覆盖种植。

The Fhybrid of hot pepper ‘Layou 20’,bred by Guangzhou Institute of Agricultural Sciences,was developed by crossing the female parent of inbred line 19073 and male parent of inbred line N582.The fruit is green-colored,sheep-horn shaped and smooth-skinned.The single fruit is 18.46 cm in length,2.9 cm in diameter,59.82g in weigh,and the yield is about 1 400 kg/667 m^(2).The vitamin C content is 0.81 mg/g,the protein content is 11.9 mg/g,the soluble sugar content is 39 mg/g,and the capsaicin content is 2.94 mg/g.It is characterized by earliness,excellent quality,high stress resistance,good adaptability,moderate resistance to anthracnose and pestilence,and susceptibility to bacterial wilt,TMV and CMV.‘Layou 20’ is suitable for field and plastic mulch cultivation in spring and autumn in Guangdong Province.
