Contributions to Semiotic Studies by Systemic Functional Linguistics

系统功能语言学经过六十多年的发展,在符号的理论研究和实践应用两个方面都有所贡献。纵观符号研究的发展历程可以发现,系统功能语言学始终强调符号的社会属性,在前人研究的基础上发展语言和非语言符号系统的研究,并将符号的理论研究应用到教学领域,促进理论与实践的结合。揭示系统功能语言学对于符号研究的贡献,有助于符号研究的传承与发展,促进符号研究与教学实践的结合。

Systemic Functional Linguistics has witnessed over 60 years’ development, and has made great contributions to the theoretical research and practical application of semiotic studies. An overview of the historical development of semiotic studies shows that Systemic Functional Linguistics has emphasized the social nature of signs and has developed, based on previous research, linguistic and non-linguistic systems. It also promoted the combination of theory and practice by applying theoretical studies of signs to pedagogical fields. Such a study contributes to the inheritance and development of semiotic studies and the combination of semio-tic studies along with pedagogical practice.
