Rippling Water of Spring Creating a Factory with Genius Loci

万事达镇江工厂是一座基于建筑学空间理念设计的工业建筑.由于工业建筑以制造为核心的空间逻辑,以及现实的技术条件与造价限制,其设计与建造过程不可避免地遇到诸多困难与局限.建筑师以务实的态度,认知并理解工业建筑的理性化属性,尝试从不同角度来寻找人性空间与物性系统的共存方式,并依托建筑现象学理论,发掘工业建筑与建造地域的现象学特征,展示基于场所精神的工业场景,体验当代工业建筑的工业化产品系统与建造手段,探索一种工业建筑的设计思路.

ABSTRACT The Wiskind Factory is a recently built industrial facility located on the outskirts of Zhenjiang.The architectural design challenges the premise that factories are designed solely in response to the manufacturing process and machinery they contain,with lttle consideration given to human experience and place.By adopting the theories of Phenomenology and Genius Loci,the architect rationalized the building space around the limitations of the technology.production line process,and a strict budget to emphasize the signihcance of human experience and connection to the surrounding environment.As a result,the Wiskind Factory explores the relationship between architectural space,experience,sensation,and meaning.In doing so,it strengthens these relationships to provide a new type of Humanized Industrial Architecture relevant to the world today.
