本文从风景园林学的视角讨论了设计和科学的关系。从场地认知、规划设计、实施建造和绩效评估4个环节论述了风景园林中的“设计·科学”,辩证地探讨了各环节中科学导向的增强与局限,亦指出风景园林中的动态性与不可控性是无法用科学以一概全的。

The relationship between design and science in landscape architecture is examined and discussed under the perspective of landscape planning and design practice process,which is composed of four main stages,including site interpretation,planning and design,construction,and performance evaluation.In recent years,science has shown a stronger impetus and influence in the realm of landscape architecture.However,limitations to the science-driven methods can also be observed.It is critical to recognise the importance of the dynamic and uncontrollable nature of landscape,which calls for a synthesised approach between design and science.
