Ever since its origins, the discipline of architecture has followed a scientific method, be it in terms of graphic language, design methods or construction technology. From the Renaissance to present day, the discipline of architecture has gone through multiple stages and has been heavily influenced by social and technological advancements. In the context of contemporary changes from carbon-based to silicon-based development, the discipline of architecture has to face new challenges that require its adaptation to future trends.
